    Agreement
    All scheduled classes coincide with the lee county school system calendar

    monthly fees
    • Tuition is due the first of each month.  No student may attend class until tuition is paid for that month. No exception to this rule.
    • A break in attendance may forfeit your registration fee and a new registration fee will be required to resume classes.
    • No prorated fees or refunds for anyone for any reason at anytime.

    HOLD HARMLESS RELEASE

    I recognize that this program includes, but is not limited to certain physical activities that may pose some risk or injury. I further understand and agree that the Colours School of the Arts  of Southwest Florida Inc. is not an insurer nor is responsible for any cost incurred by my child or I arising from activities conducted within the scope of this program. I release COLOURS from any claims or liabilities for such injuries or damages that may occur. I also agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend COLOURS from and against any claims or liabilities that may arise because of any act or failure to act on my part or on the part of my child.
    Classes desired:
    *Age and experience will determine class placement. (Tots-3 to 5 yrs; Preps-5 to 7 yrs; Basic I - 6 to 8 yrs; Basic II - 9 to 13 yrs; Int.- 12 yrs & up; community/adult-all ages)

Colours School OF THE ARTS CLASS CONDUCT:

1.   Listen carefully and follow directions 
2.   Be respectful of staff and others at all times
3.   Dance shoes or socks only on dance floor
4.   Keep noise level low
5.   Leave games, toys and jewelry at home
6.   Keep hands and feet to yourself 
7.   Running in the building is prohibited
8.   The use of equipment is by permission only
9.   Food or drink in the dance room is prohibited
10. You may leave the dance room when given permission by the instructor
11. Loitering or playing in the dance rooms is prohibited
12. Unnecessary chatter is distracting and will not be tolerated
13. Respect other people’s property and only touch when given permission


DRESS CODE
Students will not be allowed to dance if they are in violation of the dress code.


Tots: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Ballet skirt is optional.
Preps: Black leotards, tan tights, pink ballet slippers.  Ballet skirt optional.
Modern: Black leotard, tan footless tights, bare feet.
Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Ballet skirt is optional
Lyrical: Black leotard, tan tights, pink ballet slipper. Ballet skirt is optional.
Caribbean: Black leotard , tan footless tights, long circle skirt, bare feet.
African: Black leotard, tan or black footless tights, or leggings, or sweat pants.
Lapa (wrap skirt) is mandatory. Bare feet.
Latin: Leotard, Jazz pants or leggings, Character or Jazz Shoes
Jazz: Black leotard, dance pants, tan tights, jazz shoes
Liturgical: Loose fitting Jazz pants, palazzo pants, or sweat pants with NO elastic on bottom, t-shirt.
A Bible is Mandatory.
Hip Hop: Jazz pants, or sweat pants, t- shirt, dance sneakers, note book NO JEANS!
Tap: Black leotard, tan tights, black jazz pants or leggings, and tap shoes.
Drumming: Students will need their own instrument
Piano: Keyboards are provided, will need to purchase recommended music book

Standard dress for males:  Black dance pants or sweats, black or white fitted t-shirt, Black tights for Ballet
