                                                Sharon Hill

Born September 9th 1960, Sharon Hill was the last child of Roland and Christobel Hill. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies, but later migrated to the United States. She grew up in New York City and during those early years, discovered her gift to dance. She attended college, studied and attained her degree in Business Administration from Pace University. She is the mother of four beautiful children.   Through her gift of dance, she has impacted and continues to change the lives of countless young people. She started Colours School of the Arts with a mission to empower the youth through the arts, specifically dance.   During her mission work with Colours, the Lord began doing a special work in her, drawing her in closer intimacy with Him through the very gift He gave her. This time, He began stretching her through liturgical dance, calling her to serve Him with every fiber of who she is as a vessel created for a special purpose in this season. She went on to seed and water several dance ministries in Southwest Florida. She has now graduated to a place of being completely sold out to every desire of God for her life. She is ministerial and a quiet powerhouse in the matters of God. She awakes in the wee hours of the morning to share her cares with Him. She is the matriarch of her home, a prayer warrior, a committed believer, a student of the Word, a daughter that gave her all --honoring both her parents in life and in death, a warm smile in moments of uncertainty, a fearless leader, motivator, woman of conviction and courage, a fighter, a survivor, one who has forgiven because He forgave, a giver of life, visionary, one who excels, a Beloved of God, a fragrant flower that has changed the atmosphere...a rose of Sharon.
